Ever lively, the Jack Russell Terriers that live with Joanne and Jon Helm are now just their well-loved pets. They are undercover dogs as they sleep in the bed under the covers. Their joy in life is bossing the Airedale terriers around.

Joanne and Jon pose with two of their Jack Russell
terriers - Lady Di and Tuppence.

From field trials for hunting and muskrat races to agility trials and racing, these little power houses can do it all. While they are just pets now,  the late Lady Di won her Master Den certificate. She died in the summer of 1999 while hunting. Tuppence was sixth in open hunting and open denning at the 1997 Alberta Jack Russell Terrier Trials. A year later, Lady Di won the Breed Class when four generations of her line were shown at the 1998 Alberta Jack Russell Trials.

Petunia, above, is a rough-coated Jack Russell terrier. Now spayed, she has produced some remarkably beautiful puppies (see photo, right).

This wheelbarrow load of Jack Russell puppies was Petunia's last litter.

All our dogs are fed Purina Pro Plan food.
